If anything, chaos always has a way of getting me closer to God. And no, I don’t purposely move away from him. I just exist in a world that creates circumstances that shift me now and again.
This one was just that.
At the beginning of this epidemic, I started getting visions of a terrible world. An apocalypse that finds us starving and having no means to feed our children.
Dramatic, I know.
But when you have a child, you consider every possible scenario. And the human brain loves gravitating towards negativity, especially if that is what you have been fed through media channels.
Every day I have been looking at stats going up globally, people dying, governments panicking, and you think I won’t?
And that today, I looked at our Home Tuition Calendar (Ill tell you about this soon) and God spoke to me.
He said:
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”. Ephesians 6: 12
Your life is your world, and your mind is your high place. The principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness are the negative thoughts that creep around our heads the whole day, wanting us to panic.
This is why that same chapter encourages us to wear the armor of truth where our world will be guarded by salvation, righteousness, truth, faith, and the gospel of truth.
Ephesians 3:17 reminds us that we have been rooted and grounded in love, and God needs to dwell in our hearts by faith. Roots go deep, and a tree is immovable.
Let us remain grounded and rooted during this time, and this too shall pass.
Faith
Remember what faith is. It does not come by seeing or touching, it comes by believing, with conviction that God will never leave you nor forsake you.
Remain in faith, for even faith the size of a mustard seed will move mountains.
Imagine what it could do if we all planted our mustard seeds all at once 🙂
