I had an opportunity to use the Purity and Elizabeth Anne’s Essentials Special Baby Shampoo on my baby for a couple of days, and I am elated with the results. There is nothing as overwhelming and confusing as being a first-time parent. I know this because I am one. I am also surrounded by a cloud of amazing women that are currently expecting children or have given birth to their first. There are a lot of important decisions we have to make as parents, and choosing the right baby products is one of them. Stores are full of different brands and we are definitely spoilt for choice. This, though, leaves us quite confused about which products to trust, and which not to.
Bathing products are particularly important because we all know that a baby’s skin is very sensitive and needs to be carefully looked after. I also like how your baby will communicate to you when their skin disapproves a certain product. We have definitely been through this case before after purchasing products that have left my daughter either with a rash, or the baby just smells weird after we have used it. The worst for me was a crying baby during bath time because the soap was too harsh on her eyes and the soap left them burning. Bath time is meant to be a fun time and you definitely need a product that will afford you this opportunity.
Bath time is fun time
I personally use bath time as a tool to bond with my daughter. She loves being in there, so I have to make sure she completely enjoys her time in the water. This is why we have enjoyed using the Purity and Elizabeth Anne’s Essentials Special Baby Shampoo. This shampoo is soap free, so be rest assured that it will not burn your baby’s eyes. The secret is in the name; The shampoo was specially made for the baby’s delicate skin and caters for the needs of the child. We cannot use the soap we use on our skin on theirs.
The shampoo is also lightly fragranced which does not pose any harm on the baby, and in turn, leaves the baby smelling fresh and clean. Highly fragranced products are very harmful to children and can irritate the baby’s eyes and affect the baby’s skin.
Delicate Skin
My favorite thing about the Purity and Elizabeth Anne’s Essentials Special Baby Shampoo is how it leaves the baby’s skin feeling soft, smooth and silky. Young children are more prone to experiencing dry skin, and this is why it is important to use a product that cleanses and moisturizes the baby’s skin. This special shampoo has quickly turned into my favorite because of its multi usage.
You can use it as a daily moisturizer and as a conditioner. I am yet to use it as a shaving cream for myself.
The shampoo is definitely gentle on my child’s skin and I sleep better knowing that the product was tested and approved by a Dermatologist and a Paediatrician. Parents can also do their own tests when purchasing baby products. You just rub a little bit of the product on a small portion of the baby’s skin and leave it there for 24 hours. This is called patch testing and I used this to see how the baby reacts. It was a pleasure to see that she was not itchy and did not have any bad reaction to the Purity and Elizabeth Anne’s Essentials Special Baby Shampoo.
Needless to say, both mommy and baby are in love with the Purity and Elizabeth Anne’s Essentials Special Baby Shampoo and we use it in conjunction with the Essentials Aqueous cream which does very well with protecting that baby’s skin. You can check out the full range of products here.
